Originally established in 1982 as D&M Surveyors, P.C. until the asset acquisition in 2021 by Civil Surveyors Inc. (CIVSUR), our company is continuing to expand to help fulfill the needs of customers.

At CIVSUR, we combine technical land surveying knowledge and experience while providing exceptional client surveying services throughout Virginia.

Our company concentrates on land surveying services that are the foundation for civil engineering and civil construction, and is why we named the company Civil Surveyors Inc. Our company understands that the design and the subsequent construction rely on survey data and that the accuracy of our surveys is paramount to the final product. Our team provides boundary surveys, ALTA/NSPS land title surveys, design and route surveys for utilities, roads, infrastructure improvements as well as new land development projects.

CIVSUR believes a client’s experience is just as important as the technical task or survey ‘s performed. Our goal is for every client engagement to be an elevated experience so we become your surveyor of choice.

We incorporated the leopard in the company logo because our cofounder, Lucas Koloo, as a young surveyor in Africa, had interactions with African Big Cats (leopards). Leopards while certainly beautiful, are also powerful and versatile predators and represent how we attack work.
